Garden Bed Rentals

The Quinte West Gardens – Growing Community offers 21 rental garden beds each growing season for community members to enjoy.

Garden beds are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to residents of Quinte West. Returning gardeners in good standing from the previous season will also receive priority consideration.

Once all garden beds are reserved, a waitlist is created. If a garden bed becomes available, individuals on the waitlist will be contacted.

Each gardener may rent one garden bed. If any beds remain available after April 30, approved renters who have expressed interest may be offered the opportunity to rent a second bed.

The costs and sizes are as follows:

• 5 small beds 8x3'    $10

• 1 double height accessible bed 16x4'  $20

• 2 accessible beds which can accommodate wheel chairs 16x3'  $20

• 13 large beds 16x4' $20
